CALLBACKS?  They are not interested!  They know that the next door has greater possibilities and is a lot closer!  What is a callback? A callback is several things, none of which are good for the person foolish enough to chase it. A call back is a lazy person’s excuse to steal from himself.

And he steals TWICE from himself. He steals from his pocket book because he wastes time, and he steals from his moral fiber because he yields to a weakness. A callback is a gamble that entices a person away from a sure thing!

Do salespeople sell a few callbacks? Of course they do! That’s the sad part of it. If, since the dawn of direct selling, NO direct salesperson ever sold a callback, thousands of once good salespeople who contracted the CALLBACK VIRUS and died because of it, would still be in direct selling and making good profits for themselves and their companies.

We can’t monkey with the bandwagon!  We can’t dance without paying the piper!  We can’t make callbacks without selling just enough to keep us chasing them.  And from that point, it’s just a short step to OCCASIONALLY canvassing and the certain demise of another potentially successful direct salesperson!

Ned Manley wrote this over 30 years ago. Has anything changed? I don’t think so! But, it’s your decision. Personally, I would NEVER make a call back again! Thanks for joining in…HAVE A GREAT DAY!
