  2. Believe in your company.
  3. Believe in your product (live it, breathe it, be it).
  4. Work on your timing.
  5. Don’t waste your time.
  6. Develop a sense of humor.
  7. Realize that what your prospect says isn’t necessarily what they mean.
  8. Become a SUPER GREAT MASTER listener.
  9. Have pride in EVERY aspect of your work.


Having listed these self-evident truths of salesmanship, I’d like to elaborate on the few qualities that make a MASTER SALESPERSON.


  1. Knock on old doors.  Your old customers make a great source for referrals and sales.  They can sometimes be nonstop when they get going!


  1. Make your obsession their obsession.  When you show your enthusiasm and passion about your product with your prospect, it becomes infections.


  1. Work dumb, think smart.  Put the blinders on each day; go door-to-door and floor-to-floor until there ain’t no more.  What’s behind each door I cannot tell but this I know and know it well, the more I open the more I sell.
